How we write and check our guides

The buyer guides on the four ZeroLine sites are written by the teams who test parts, quote equipment and support it after delivery, and an engineer checks each one before it goes up. Every figure has a source you can see: a public document we link, a test we ran, or our own records. These are the rules.

Which sites this covers

zerolineai.com
ZeroLine: industry solutions, services and buying from Optics Valley
maxwavelaser.zerolineai.com
Maxwave Laser: laser cleaning, welding, marking and cutting
ctne.zerolineai.com
Stratavolt: energy-storage module and PACK lines (English and Chinese)
connect.zerolineai.com
ZeroLine Connect: optical fiber, cable, FTTH and data-center cabling

Who writes them

Each guide is written by the applications team of the line it is about: the people who run sample tests in Wuhan, size lines and answer buyers’ technical questions. A second person, an engineer who works on that kind of equipment, checks every figure, calculation and claim before publication. The byline names the team that answers for the guide.

Where the figures come from

  • A public source. We link it next to the figure, or in the sources at the end of the guide.
  • Our own test. We say so and give the conditions: material, thickness, power, speed, the result we measured.
  • Our records. Company figures such as countries served or machines delivered, counted as explained on the facts page.
  • A calculation. We show the inputs, the exchange rate and the formula, so you can redo it with your own numbers.

Prices

Every price says when we saw it and on what basis: ex-works, FOB or delivered, with or without tax and duty. Where we quote other sellers’ list prices, we link them. Where we give our own indicative prices, the written quotation is what binds. We review price guides at least every six months and change the “Updated” date when we do.

What we will not publish

  • Customers, quotes, reviews or ratings that do not exist.
  • Certificates or approvals we cannot show you on request.
  • A delivered project without a country and a year. Cases that show what a kind of project looks like are labelled “Representative case” and kept out of search indexes until a delivered project replaces them.
  • “Best”, “fastest” or “cheapest” without a test or a source behind it.

We sell what we write about

The guides are published by the companies that sell the equipment they discuss. We say where our own machines fit and where they do not, we tell you when a cheaper option will do, and we link the sources for figures that are not ours.

Tools

We use software, including AI writing and translation tools, to draft and translate. A person who knows the subject checks every figure and claim before publication, and the team in the byline is responsible for the result.

Updates and corrections

The “Updated” date shows the last change to the substance of a guide. If you find an error, write to sales@zerolineai.com with “Correction” in the subject and the page address. We check every report and fix confirmed errors within five working days.
