Turnkey MakePowerConnectSense

Turnkey production plants, from an empty building to running production

When you need a factory rather than a machine, ZeroLine plans the process and layout, integrates equipment from several partner factories under one contract, runs acceptance in China, then installs, trains your team and supports ramp-up on site. Since 2009 we have delivered more than 3,000 production-line projects for customers in 58 countries.

How it runs

What turnkey covers

  1. 01

    Feasibility

Product mix, capacity, staffing and an investment estimate you can take to your board or bank.

    Weeks 1–6

  2. 02

    Plant design

Process flow, layout for your building, utility lists, equipment specification and schedule.

    Weeks 4–12

  3. 03

    Build and acceptance

Equipment from several factories built to one standard and accepted together in China.

    Typically 3–7 months

  4. 04

    Install and commission

Our engineers lead installation and commissioning; local contractors handle civil works to our specifications.

    Typically 1–4 months

  5. 05

    Train and ramp up

Operators and maintenance teams trained on site or in Wuhan; support until the plant runs at rate.

  6. 06

    Support

Spare parts, remote support, retrofits and upgrades for the life of the plant.

All project types
What does turnkey include, and what does it not?

We are responsible for process, equipment, integration, acceptance, installation, commissioning and training. The building and civil works are usually done by a local contractor to the utility and foundation specifications we provide, and we supervise the interfaces.

Who is responsible if two machines from different factories do not work together?

We are. One contract covers the whole plant, so integration problems are ours to solve, not yours to arbitrate between suppliers.

How are payments structured?

In milestones tied to design approval, factory acceptance and commissioning, usually under a letter of credit. Deferred terms backed by export credit insurance are possible, subject to credit approval.
