Program
Local manufacturing: from importing to making it in your country
Many buyers start by importing finished products and end up making them at home, to meet local-content rules, cut duties and serve their region faster. ZeroLine takes you along that path in four stages: import, assemble from kits, build your own line, and keep it supplied with materials, parts and service. The products you sell today become the plant you run tomorrow, with one partner throughout.
- Import → assemble → build → supply
- 4 stages
- Typical build time of a PACK or cable line before acceptance in Wuhan
- 3–5 months
- A year from one Stratavolt 8 PPM PACK line
- ≈ 2.46 GWh
- From the first container to a running plant
- 1 contract
Scope
Four stages, one partner
-
ZeroLine
Stage 1 · Import
- Finished products from Optics Valley: storage cabinets, fiber cable and FTTH kits, laser machines
- Build the market and learn the product
- Sales data that sizes the plant you will need
-
ZeroLine
Stage 2 · Assemble
- Semi-knocked-down (SKD) and completely-knocked-down (CKD) kits
- Storage modules into racks and cabinets; patch cords and pigtails terminated locally; machines assembled from kits
- A small hall and 10–30 people; the first local-content steps
-
ZeroLine
Stage 3 · Build
- Turnkey lines: battery module and PACK, optical cable, sheet-metal and automotive parts
- Layout, utilities, acceptance in Wuhan, installation and ramp-up
- Your staff trained in Wuhan and on site
-
ZeroLine
Stage 4 · Supply
- Materials and components for your plant: cells, BMS, busbars; bare fiber, yarns and compounds; laser sources and optics
- Consumables and spare parts from stock
- Service contracts, retrofits and the next line
-
Power
Energy storage
- Import storage cabinets and containers
- Assemble modules into racks and cabinets

FAQ
Questions buyers ask
What are SKD and CKD assembly?
Semi-knocked-down (SKD) kits arrive as major sub-assemblies that are finished locally; completely-knocked-down (CKD) kits arrive as parts. Both let you start assembly with little equipment and often attract lower import duty than finished products. They are a common first step before a full production line.
Which countries have local-content rules for these products?
Many of our markets do, including Saudi Arabia, India, Indonesia, Türkiye, Egypt, Brazil and Uzbekistan, and the rules change often. We check the current thresholds and duties for your product and country at the start of the project; the market pages give an overview.
How much does a local battery PACK assembly plant cost?
The Stratavolt 8 PPM module and PACK line starts at RMB 2 million for the base configuration, about 2.46 GWh a year with 314 Ah cells. Building, utilities, freight, installation and working capital come on top. We prepare the full business case before you commit.
Can you help with the business case and financing?
Yes. We size capex, staffing, materials and payback for each stage, and we can structure payment with letters of credit, milestones tied to acceptance and Sinosure-backed terms, subject to credit approval.
Will you keep supplying materials once the plant runs?
Yes. Most plants need cells, fiber, compounds, components and spare parts from China for years. We put them under a framework agreement with agreed prices and delivery slots.
Do you train our people?
Yes. Operators and technicians train in Wuhan during acceptance and on site during ramp-up, with manuals and work instructions in English.
