Key takeaways
- Han's Laser is China's largest laser equipment group (CN¥14.09 bn revenue in 2023); Bodor led China's sheet-metal laser cutting market in 2023 with a 9.1% revenue share.
- Shandong, centred on Jinan, exported CN¥5.4 bn of laser cutting machines in 2025, 32.7% of China's total. Wuhan is the other full-range cluster.
- Power ranges now reach 60 kW for standard models at several makers; HSG and Gweike have shown 120 kW and 135 kW machines.
- Warranty terms seen in 2026 run from 12 months on a stock machine to 5 years on the source, head and controller. Ask for them in writing.
- Check the safety record: in 2025 the US FDA posted recalls of 289 Chinese-built laser cutters sold in the US for missing protective housing and interlocks.
- We do not represent the makers in the table. Our partner Maxwave Laser builds an entry-level 500–2200 W open-bed cutter; for higher powers we source from other audited factories.
The makers at a glance
Facts as published by the companies, their filings or the press, checked in October 2026. Power ranges are those we could verify; several makers advertise more. We do not represent these companies, and none of them paid to be listed.

Where they are: four clusters
- Jinan, Shandong. Bodor, Senfeng, Gweike, LXSHOW and about 300 related firms. Shandong exported CN¥5.4 bn of laser cutting machines in 2025, 32.7% of China’s total, the largest share for three years running.
- Shenzhen and Foshan, Guangdong. Han’s Laser, HSG, Hymson and DNE; strong in medium and lower-power equipment and automation.
- Yangtze River Delta. Yawei and many high-power cutting and welding makers.
- Wuhan, Hubei. HGTECH, Penta’s Wuhan plant, Golden Laser and laser-source maker Raycus: the full chain from source to machine. See who’s who in Optics Valley.
How to choose between them
- Start from the work. Thickest and most common material, sheet size, parts per shift. That sets the power and format; most shops buy too much power.
- Shortlist by format. Open bed or enclosed exchange table, sheet only or tube too, automation now or later. Not every maker builds every format well.
- Ask for the same brief and cut samples from two or three makers, with the cutting chart of the exact source and head.
- Compare warranty terms in writing. Terms we saw in 2026: 5 years on source, head and controller (Bodor); 3 years on the machine and 2 on a Raycus source (HSG, US dealer); 24 months (Yawei, Europe); 12 months on a stock machine (Senfeng, Germany). Ask what is excluded and who pays for parts shipping.
- Check service where you are. Who installs, who answers in your time zone, where spare heads and sources are stocked.
- Check the safety and compliance record. Ask for the EU Declaration of Conformity or the FDA accession number for your exact model. In 2025 the US FDA posted recalls of Bodor P, C and I series machines (289 units in total) for missing protective housing and safety interlocks; search the FDA recall database for any brand you consider.
Where ZeroLine fits
We are the international partner of Maxwave Laser in Wuhan, whose 1530 fiber laser cutter covers 500–2200 W on an open 1500 × 3000 mm bed: an entry-level machine, not a rival to the 20–60 kW machines above. For higher powers, exchange tables, tube cutting or a complete sheet-metal shop, we match your parts to other audited factories, run the acceptance test with you and take one contract for the whole order. Prices by power are in our fiber laser cutting machine price guide.
